Spring-Summer 2019/2020

Martyrdom is an action in which someone suffers persecution or death for advocating, renouncing, refusing to renounce, or refusing to advocate a religion or political belief demanded by somebody else. One of the most famous stories of martyrdom happened in Japan when a group of Catholics executed by crucifixion. The designer draws inspiration from this tragedy then retells the clashing of both cultures; The Catholic church and the traditional Japanese culture, in gothic styles.
